We believe that our Simply Sleep Memory Foam Mattress' offer a great value alternative to Tempur memory foam mattress', and here we present a direct comparison between our memory foam mattress' and equivalent Tempur products.
Dimensions - Whilst the basic outer dimensions should be standardized to Single, Double, King etc, and so negates comparison, the height of the mattress plays a vital role in the mattress' comfort levels. For this comparison we will use our 25cm deep memory foam mattress, and Tempurs Combi mattress, with the same depth of 25cm. The Simply Sleep memory foam mattress is composed of 17.5cm high density base foam, with 7.5cm of memory foam. Tempurs combi mattress is composed of two 7.5 cm thick layers of high density foam (giving 15cm), 7cm of Tempur memory foam and a 3cm Tempur 'Soft Touch' cover. So both mattress' have quite similar dimensions and overall layer composition.
Material Quality - Both mattress' use a similar high density, impact resistant polyurethane foam for their base layer. Then we have already seen that the memory foam layer is roughly the same depth, with the Simply Sleep memory foam mattress just edging it by 0.5cm. So how good is the memory foam used? The Simply Sleep Memory foam mattress uses a memory foam with a density of 4lb, and the Tempur mattress uses a 5lb memory foam. Price - The second main difference is in the price. A Simply Sleep King Size memory foam mattress costs £375.00. The equivalent King Size Tempur Combi mattress costs £1899.00.
Given the similarities between the two products, and the slight difference in the quality of the memory foam, we think that our Simply Sleep Memory Foam Mattress' offer a very high quality product at an amazing value for money price.
